Google sign-in

MeetSomething uses Google to verify your identity. We store your Google account's stable identifier and verified email address to create your account and associate it with your projects. Google's sign-in response may include your name and profile photo; MeetSomething does not store these fields. Your Google password is handled by Google.

We request only basic identity information for sign-in. We do not request access to Gmail messages, Drive files, contacts or other Google account content. Google identity tokens are verified during sign-in and are not stored as account credentials.

Your projects

Server drafts and their screenshots are available only to your signed-in account. Choosing Submit & publish makes the project name, website, description, category, pricing and uploaded screenshot public in the directory. Your account email and Google identifier are not included in public listings.

Drafts previously saved in your browser stay on that device until you explicitly copy one into the dashboard and save or publish it.

Cookies and security

Essential host-only cookies maintain your seven-day session and a ten-minute sign-in challenge. Session tokens and challenges are stored as hashes. Security counters use hashed identifiers and expire after their rate-limit window. Cloudflare hosts the site and database and processes requests to operate and protect the service.

Analytics and sharing

The public directory uses Google Analytics for basic visits and engagement, with advertising personalization disabled. The dashboard and this privacy page do not load Analytics. Account emails, Google identifiers, private drafts and project submission actions are not sent to Analytics.

We use Google account information only for authentication and account management. We do not sell it or share it for advertising. It is processed by our hosting provider to operate the service and may be accessed by the site owner for support and security.

Retention and your choices

You can edit, unpublish or delete your projects in the dashboard. Deleting a project removes its listing and stored screenshot from the active database. Account records remain until you request account deletion. Expired sessions and challenges are cleaned up when the service processes subsequent requests. Hosting providers may retain operational logs or backups under their own policies.

To request account deletion or ask about your data, contact canhua.mao@gmail.com using your account email. We may ask you to verify account ownership before removing account data and its associated projects. You can also revoke MeetSomething's access in your Google account settings.
